Spent Saturday evening through Monday morning with Fred near Mayfield Lake. Finally I was able to see one of these Tiger Muskie caught. We saw at least a dozen of them and finally on Monday Fred got one to attack his lure. I was happy to be the net man and have a little part of this event. Fish number 11 this year for Mayfield excursions "guided" by Fred. It was estimated to be about 40" long, between 20 and 25 pounds. Mr fish got a bit tangled in the net so we drug him around the lake for awhile while he recovered. The last photo is Fred waking him up and sending him on his way. Notice the gloves....in my humble estimation these fish have teeth like a great white shark! A wonderful weekend including a special Sunday am meeting in Onalaska and potluck afterward.
