Hot and dry would be a couple words that come to mind describing this long weekend spent in Tonasket. And at times a bit loud as well! Nine of us made the treak east to our little dusty investment we don't really call home. Dave, myself, Eric, Kateen, Laura, Anna, Sarah, Jolynn and Gina were all game for this adventure. We read books, shot guns, ate, hiked around and generally just enjoyed being out of the city. Most of Sunday was spent in Oroville with Sunday morning meeting at the Thompsons then wiffleball in the park with other locals and visitors and a dip in Lake Osoyoos to cool off before heading back into the dry! I must say I was a bit suprised that everyone seemed to genuinely have a great time in the heat and dust. Hmmm...maybe it was the "toilet" view (see last photo)!
