The most musically inclined in my extended family was at it again. My great Aunt Myrle hosted a music night last weekend. I learned that apparently I can't read music. And not totally unrelated.....I realized how much I love our familiar "Hymns old and new"! This photo is a sneak peek of a composition practice for an upcoming wedding. And maybe this would be the appropriate time to mention I'm now spending at least a portion of my free time practicing for this same wedding. Yes, yours truly is becoming part of a band for the occasion. My role is back-up electric guitar. Since I only have a month to grow my hair out, I don't think I'll make it on image alone. I must practice! And.....well, if I don't learn it; I can always play with my amp off and the marriage will go harmoniously on :)
