Celebrating Presidents Day Off the Grid
Had a great trip to see Eric in Forks. I actually can't say it is too off the grid, I got all 5 bars on my cell phone!

The weekend was capped off with a guided Steelhead fishing trip.
Eric was kind enough to let the guest hook into the only fish of the day.....I lost the estimated 10lb beauty near the boat though. I will be back.
This was the setup for our 9mile trip down the Calawa and Bogachiel Rivers. Guide Larry not pictured.

Wow, that beach is beautiful! One thing I miss about living on that side of the state, the proximity to the ocean. We have lots & lots of lakes here but there's just nothing like those rolling waves & wide horizions.
You forgot to include the pictures of all of the fish that you caught.
LOVE the boat picture - A+ on that (the beach shots are great too...) Isay you post a poll - how many pics will you take on your amazing trip??! Jill
Hi Justin,
I'm not sure if you'll remember me, but in a roundabout way we ended up on your blog and thought we'd say hi! My mom and dad are Don and Darlene Wells. My husband Brian and I are living in Boise now...enjoying the desert! But it's fun to check out your pictures. You've got some great shots!
Hi Amy! Sure I do...but you aren't the teenager I remember anymore :) Aren't we related way down the line? Was very nice to see your mom last year at Kate and Derrick's wedding. Thanks for saying Hi, it was neat to see you blog. Thanks for the photo compliment too....I'm getting my picture taking fix at the moment in the "land down under". My big trip is about over though. Hopefully I'll have some good pics to show for all this :) I do hope to get to Boise someday...there are now a few couples/families it would be great to see again. Take care.
