Sun and wind on Lake Washington today!

Travis on the trapeze keeping us from blowing over.

He thinks he's a bird......or something.

It got a little tippy!

We zipped back and forth across the lake for 18 miles reaching speeds of 10 knots (11.5mph) according to my little gizmo. Partially capsized a couple times (we managed to stay in it) and I lost my crew overboard only once. All in all a great evening on the water! Here's a clip of it:

Wow! I think you were going faster than 11 mph! seems fun and scary- not for the faint of heart! Love the clip...

Yes, fearless crew ballast is needed! Maybe later this summer work will settle down I'll get a weekday off and can take you up on that. The camera concern is real...I'm also worried luck will run out eventually. Next time I think I'll take my older 3mp camera.
